My name is Luis Arandia. I was born and raised in Boyle Heights, a neighborhood that taught me the value of family, community, and perseverance. I had the privilege of being raised by both of my parents alongside my amazing brother, whose daughter is not only my niece but also my beloved goddaughter.

At the age of 14, I started working in the clothing business, where I spent a decade learning everything about fabric, fit, and style. Over time, I had the unique opportunity to collaborate with executives, studying their personalities and curating wardrobes that gave them the confidence to walk into any room. These early experiences shaped me and sparked my passion for fashion and business. After working with several companies, I decided to take the leap and pursue my own path.

Going independent wasn’t easy. It took discipline, dedication, and long hours. My days started at 7 AM attending political breakfasts, followed by client meetings during the day, and ended with evening events. I had to hustle non-stop to make it all happen, but the hard work paid off.

Throughout my journey, I’ve always prioritized giving back to my community. I’ve been fortunate to donate suits and food to those in need, driven by the values I learned growing up. Coming from a humble family, I’ve experienced struggle firsthand. My father passed away when I was 17, leaving my mother to raise us on her own. By the time I was 19, I was already working to support myself.

Life wasn’t always easy. My brother Nick was tragically injured in a drive-by shooting at just 14 years old, a moment that deeply affected my family and shaped my outlook on life. Despite the hardships, growing up in Boyle Heights was a blessing. Our neighborhood was a tight-knit community where people looked out for each other—sharing meals, barbecues, and lifelong friendships. Those bonds remain strong to this day.

Inspired by my journey and my love for my community, I founded the Luis Arandia Foundation. Through this foundation, I’m committed to giving back to families and children who need support. Whether through providing clothing, dental care, or counseling services, my goal is to empower others to transform their lives.
